बलं बलवतां चाहं कामरागविवर्जितम् ।
धर्माविरुद्धो भूतेषु कामोऽस्मि भरतर्षभ ॥ ११ ॥

balaṁ balavatāṁ cāhaṁ
kāma-rāga-vivarjitam
dharmāviruddho bhūteṣu
kāmo ’smi bharatarṣabha
발람 발라바땀 짜함  balaṁ balavatāṁ cāhaṁ
까마-라가-비바르지땀 kāma-rāga-vivarjitam
다르마비룯도 부떼슈 dharmāviruddho bhūteṣu
까모’스미 바라따르샤바 kāmo ’smi bharatarṣabha

Translation

번역

I am the strength of the strong, devoid of passion and desire. I am sex life which is not contrary to religious principles, O lord of the Bhāratas [Arjuna].

나는 열정과 욕망이 없는 강자의 힘이며 종교 원칙에 어긋나지 않는 성생활이니라, 오! 바라따의 주인(아르주나)이여.

Purport

주석

The strong man’s strength should be applied to protect the weak, not for personal aggression. Similarly, sex life, according to religious principles (dharma), should be for the propagation of children, not otherwise. The responsibility of parents is then to make their offspring Kṛṣṇa conscious.

강한 자의 힘은 약한 자를 보호하기 위한 것이지, 개인적 폭력을 위한 것이 아니다. 마찬가지로 성생활은 종교적 원칙(다르마)에 따라 자손을 낳기 위해 존재하고, 그렇지 않으면 해서는 안 된다. 그리고 부모의 책임은 자식을 끄리쉬나 의식이 되게 하는 것이다.
