Translation

Vertaling

Thus the self-controlled yogī, constantly engaged in yoga practice, becomes free from all material contamination and achieves the highest stage of perfect happiness in transcendental loving service to the Lord.

Zo raakt de zelfbeheerste yogī, die voortdurend het yogaproces beoefent, bevrijd van alle materiële onzuiverheid en bereikt hij het hoogste stadium van volmaakt geluk in de transcendentale liefdedienst aan de Heer.

Betekenisverklaring

Self-realization means knowing one’s constitutional position in relationship to the Supreme. The individual soul is part and parcel of the Supreme, and his position is to render transcendental service to the Lord. This transcendental contact with the Supreme is called brahma-saṁsparśa.

Zelfrealisatie betekent dat iemand zijn wezenlijke positie in relatie met de Allerhoogste kent. De individuele ziel is een integrerend deeltje van de Allerhoogste en het is haar positie om de Heer transcendentale dienst te bewijzen. Dit transcendentale contact met de Allerhoogste wordt brahma-saṁsparśa genoemd.
