Translation

Traducción

Under illusion you are now declining to act according to My direction. But, compelled by the work born of your own nature, you will act all the same, O son of Kuntī.

Por ilusión, ahora estás rehusando actuar conforme a Mis indicaciones. Pero, llevado por el trabajo nacido de tu propia naturaleza, ¡oh, hijo de Kuntī!, tendrás que actuar de todos modos.

Purport

Significado

If one refuses to act under the direction of the Supreme Lord, then he is compelled to act by the modes in which he is situated. Everyone is under the spell of a particular combination of the modes of nature and is acting in that way. But anyone who voluntarily engages himself under the direction of the Supreme Lord becomes glorious.

Si alguien se niega a actuar bajo la dirección del Señor Supremo, entonces se verá forzado a actuar sobre la base de las modalidades bajo las que está situado. Todo el mundo está bajo el hechizo de una determinada combinación de las modalidades de la naturaleza, y está actuando en función de ello.
