Translation
There is no being existing, either here or among the demigods in the higher planetary systems, which is freed from these three modes born of material nature.
Nul être, que ce soit sur terre ou parmi les devas sur les systèmes planétaires supérieurs, n’est libre de l’influence des trois guṇas issus de la nature matérielle.
