Translation

Traducción

O best of the Bhāratas, now hear My judgment about renunciation. O tiger among men, renunciation is declared in the scriptures to be of three kinds.

¡Oh, tú, el mejor de los Bhāratas!, oye ahora Mi juicio sobre la renunciación. ¡Oh, tigre entre los hombres!, en las Escrituras se declara que la renunciación es de tres clases.

Purport

Significado

Although there are differences of opinion about renunciation, here the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, gives His judgment, which should be taken as final. After all, the Vedas are different laws given by the Lord. Here the Lord is personally present, and His word should be taken as final. The Lord says that the process of renunciation should be considered in terms of the modes of material nature in which it is performed.

Aunque existen diferentes opiniones acerca de la renunciación, aquí la Suprema Personalidad de Dios, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, expresa Su juicio, que debe tomarse como definitivo. Al fin y al cabo, los Vedas son diferentes leyes dadas por el Señor. Aquí, el Señor está presente personalmente, y Su palabra se debe tomar como definitiva. El Señor dice que el proceso de la renunciación se debe considerar en función de las modalidades de la naturaleza material en las que se realiza.
