Translation
Det, der til at begynde med kan forekomme som gift, men som ender med at være ligesom nektar, og som vækker én til selverkendelse, siges at være lykke i godhedens kvalitet.
That which in the beginning may be just like poison but at the end is just like nectar and which awakens one to self-realization is said to be happiness in the mode of goodness.

FORKLARING: I sin søgen efter selverkendelse skal man følge mange regler og forskrifter for at beherske sindet og sanserne og fokusere sindet på selvet. Alle disse procedurer er meget besværlige og kan synes at være bitre som gift, men hvis det lykkes én at følge reglerne og komme til det transcendentale niveau, begynder man at smage virkelig nektar og nyde livet.
In the pursuit of self-realization, one has to follow many rules and regulations to control the mind and the senses and to concentrate the mind on the self. All these procedures are very difficult, bitter like poison, but if one is successful in following the regulations and comes to the transcendental position, he begins to drink real nectar, and he enjoys life.
