“Běda! Přestože jsem se věnoval askezi dokonce ve vodních hlubinách a dodržoval všechna usměrňující pravidla po vzoru jiných světců, ztratil jsem výsledky své dlouhodobé askeze jen kvůli tomu, že jsem přišel do styku s milostným životem ryb. Každý by měl vzít toto poklesnutí v patrnost a poučit se z něho.”
Alas! While practicing austerity, even within the depths of the water, and while observing all the rules and regulations practiced by saintly persons, I lost the results of my long austerities simply by association with the sexual affairs of fish. Everyone should observe this falldown and learn from it.
